Since our assignments have guided us to the readings of Dewey and Louv, I chose to research Louv a bit further; since his material was a bit directed to my personal interest.
Understanding that our society has been diverted to thrive on electronically based instruments rather than the fresh air outdoors, is the picture Louv is attempting to paint in our heads.
